With Replies-NASCAR Top 10 Power Rankings: Darlington - by Jeffrey Boswell

Kyle Busch: Despite a loose lug nut problem that dropped him to 23rd on lap 141, Busch recovered to win handily in Darlington, his third win this year, then took a bow to a chorus of boos. Busch, in his Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota sporting the new Indiana Jones movie paint scheme, peppered the Darlington walls often, seemingly using them less as a barrier and more as a guide. - 5/15/2008 - Story

With Replies-The Dan Lowry 400, That was the Prize - by Ed Coombs

Just last week I wrote about how Crown Royal named the Sprint Cup race at the Richmond International Raceway after the winner of a contest. The race was called “Crown Royal Presents, the Dan Lowry 400”. I had the opportunity to speak to Lowry prior to the race weekend, during the race weekend and last Friday afternoon. - 5/14/2008 - Story

With Replies-The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly - NASCAR's Most !@%$%@ Driver Tames Its Most !@%$%@ Track - by Ron Thornton

They were not jeering. What the fans in Darlington were really chanting was "BOOOO-SH", as in Kyle Busch. The man many consider NASCAR's biggest SOB at the moment is also its hottest driver. The 23-year old started off BAD, whining about the brakes he was turning to cinders. - 5/13/2008 - Story

With Replies-Darlington, Kvapil, and Toyota - by Ron Fleshman

Who would have ever thought those three names in the title of this story would come up at the same time? Well, there's a story to tell about all of this, and it's shaping the season as we know it. No, it's not about the usual characters which would be Chevrolet, Hendrick Motorsports, and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. - 5/13/2008 - Story

With Replies-Busch Whacker - by Mike Finnegan

Kyle Busch got his Darlington stripe in the Dodge Challenger 500. Not only did he get the stripe, he beat it into his car. The race was one of the fastest races run at this track as Busch when leading kept a 3 second distance between him and the field. - 5/11/2008 - Story

With Replies-Tony Stewart Dominates the Diamond Hill Plywood 200 - by Ed Coombs

Tony Stewart dominated the Diamond Hill Plywood 200 at Darlington leading over 85 laps. No one knew how the new track surface was going to be at race time and the track, too tough to tame, did not disappoint. Stewart survived a wild race that saw the pole sitter wreck on the first lap and seven of the top ten drivers in points experience some sort of problem - 5/10/2008 - Story

With Replies-Drivers: The Price of Admission just went up! - by Shannon Poe

Last Saturday’s race at Richmond International Raceway in the southern state of Virginia was the setting for penalties handed down faster than you can say “rapid release gel” by NASCAR. A look at the big picture reveals two incidents in particular might prove to be worth nothing. - 5/10/2008 - Story

With Replies-28th place…yes! (Morgan Shepherd) - by Mark Odor

Normally, finishing 28th in a race isn’t an accomplishment. But for Morgan Shepherd and the Faith Motorsports team, finishing 28th last weekend at Richmond was almost as good as a win. Faith Motorsports has no major sponsorship backing. - 5/10/2008 - Story

With Replies-The next American NASCAR Idol - by Tammyrae Benscoter

For the past seven years, American Idol has spun controversy and television ratings, all the while bringing top musical talent to the general public. In retrospect, major league sports like NASCAR, have been bringing talented competitors to a grand stage for centuries. - 5/9/2008 - Story

With Replies-Earnhardt Jr. and Kyle Busch Get Together - by Brad Keppel

Earnhardt Jr. and Kyle Busch tested at LMS this week. Busch has security guards present on the direction of the speedway. - 5/9/2008 - Story

With Replies-Testing Impressions - by Ed Coombs

Charlotte, NC – Testing has always been important to NASCAR race teams, but this week’s unscheduled session at Lowes Motor Speedway seems to have played an even more important role. While one could look at this as testing for the upcoming All-Star Challenge race and the Memorial Day’ Coca Cola 600 - 5/9/2008 - Story

With Replies-NASCAR Top 10 Power Rankings: Richmond - by Jeffrey Boswell

Kyle Busch: Busch banged heads with two of NASCAR’s most famous racing families, interestingly enough on a weekend when his primary Sprint Cup sponsor was 'Pedigree,' in a controversial weekend in Richmond. On Friday, Busch tangled with Steve Wallace, son of Rusty, in the Nationwide race, then a late-race skirmish with Dale Earnhardt, Jr. on Saturday sent Earnhardt into the wall. - 5/8/2008 - Story

With Replies-The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly - Hamlin's Possum Parking Stunt Costs Earnhardt the Win At Richmond - by Ron Thornton

Denny Hamlin was the class of the field at Richmond Saturday night, until he came away with no class at all. Hamlin, who won the Nationwide race on Friday, won the pole for the Cup event, and was GOOD on race day dominating the field almost to perfection. - 5/7/2008 - Story

With Replies-Notebook: Perhaps Robby was Right (Michael Waltrip) - by Mark Odor

Michael Waltrip’s checkered history followed him to Richmond this past weekend. Any long time fan shouldn’t have been surprised to see Michael lose his temper once again and ram Casey Mears’ after the two tangled on the front stretch. - 5/7/2008 - Story

With Replies-Junior Wants Our Precious, But We Won't Lets Him Get It (by Gollum Hamlin) - by Ron Thornton

He wants it, he does. But it is our Precious, and we plans to keeps it. We had it in our hands, we did, until that tire started to go flats at Richmond. The brass ring was ours, we earned it, but then lates in the race he tooks it away. - 5/7/2008 - Story
