In Good Company: White will make his 128th NCWTS start in this weekend’s WinStar World Casino 350 at TMS. However, the series veteran is still looking for his first elusive NASCAR win. White would like to join an impressive list of drivers that got their first NCWTS win at Texas; Bryan Reffner (2000), Travis Kvapil (2001), Brendan Gaughan (2002) and Clint Bowyer (2006).

Texas Two-Step: White has led three laps en route to one top-10 and four top-15 finishes, has an average start of 22.6 coupled with an average finish of 19.1 and has completed 83.1 percent of laps attempted (1332 of 1602) at TMS. White’s best start at the 1.5-mile quad-oval is sixth (spring, 2010) and his best finish is eighth (spring, 2009).

Whatcha Haulin?: White will pilot “JDM06” in Friday evening’s NCWTS at TMS. Built new for the 2011 season, this GunBroker.com Chevrolet became a workhorse for the rookie team over the summer. This particular chassis was used three times in July, including White’s season-best finish of fifth at Kentucky. This is also the same chassis White piloted to a 16th-place finish after leading the field for 43 laps at Bristol Motor Speedway in August.

Get to the Point: Following a 15th-place finish at Martinsville Speedway for White and Joe Denette Motorsports, the No. 23 GunBroker.com team is up one position to 18th in the 2011 NCWTS owner point standings. White is up one position to 15th in the 2011 NCWTS driver point standings.

That’s What He Said…Quoting Jason White:

“I like Texas believe it or not and who doesn’t love a night race. My results haven’t been that great there but it’s a track I enjoy racing at. It’s definitely a track I have the most experience at. It’s a fast, wide track with multiple grooves; it’s a track that definitely suits my driving style. We didn’t run great there in the spring but our program has changed since then, we have learned a lot and we are actually bringing a completely different chassis and set-up package back this weekend. There are two races left in the season and it would mean so much to me to finish out the season strong. To bring back a cowboy hat and my first NASCAR win from Texas, would be a dream come true.”
