A Penny For Your Thoughts-Ron Hornaday… “It will be nice to get back to Bristol Motor Speedway, a track I’ve had success at in the past. The last four races have been at tracks that I’ve never won at and getting back to a place like Bristol will be refreshing. We have gone through some changes in the last few weeks at Joe Denette Motorsports and I finally feel like this team is headed in the right direction. We found some things in our trucks in the last couple weeks and I feel like I finally have the trucks where I can drive them. Everyone on the team including myself has confidence heading into this week’s race. Our short-track program has been strong this season and I like the package we are taking to Bristol. Obviously, it would be huge to get Joe his first win as an owner at what he considers his favorite track and this young team as a whole would benefit from a win. There are a few tracks left on the schedule I’m confident we will contend for wins at and Bristol is one of them. If we can do it there, it will most definitely help us capitalize on momentum for the back-half of the season.”

Hornaday’s NCWTS Stats: Starts: 312 Top-5: 148 Top-10: 213 Poles: 27 Wins: 51 Laps Led: 9553 Average Start: 8.3 Average Finish: 9.4 Laps Completed: 50,224
