Kevin Swindell NNS Advance – Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Race:  Sam’s Town 300
NASCAR Nationwide Series:  3 of 33
Track:  Las Vegas Motor Speedway
Date:  March 9, 2013

Kevin Swindell and the No. 98 Biagi-DenBeste Racing team will take to the track this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This will be the first race of the 2013 NASCAR Nationwide Series season for Swindell and the team.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway – The Sam’s Town 300 will mark Swindell’s first time racing at the Las Vegas 1.5-mile oval. The Biagi-DenBeste Racing team has previously raced at the track five times, with a top finish of 18th. In Swindell’s two 1.5-mile starts for the team last season, he completed 99.8% of the laps and scored one top-10 finish.

What Offseason? – In the few months of down time since his last race for Biagi-DenBeste Racing, Swindell stayed true to his dirt track racing roots. Swindell made history, becoming the first driver to win the famed Chili Bowl four consecutive times, picking up another Golden Driller in January. He also traveled to Australia to compete in the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic.

Kevin on This Season – “I’m excited to get this season going with the Biagi-DenBeste Racing team; I am ready to race! Fred, Bill and Steve have built a really good group of guys, and I am really looking forward to working with them again this season.”

Kevin on Las Vegas – “I’ve never raced at Las Vegas Motor Speedway before, although I’ve enjoyed racing at the dirt track out there. We had some success last season on a similar track, finishing ninth at Texas, so I’m ready to pick up where we left off.”

Tune In Alert – Tune into Speed TV’s NASCAR Race Hub tonight, Wednesday, March 6, at 6:00 pm EST to see Swindell talk about his racing background and the upcoming NASCAR Nationwide Series season.

Meet and Greet – Stop by the D Hotel, located at 301 Fremont Street in Las Vegas, on Friday, March 8, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm PST to meet Kevin Swindell. The Biagi-DenBeste driver will be on hand to meet fans, take photos and give out autographs.
