TreatMyClot.Com 300 Post Race Report TriStar Motorsports

Mooresville, NC (March 23, 2014) -The TreatmyClot.Com 300 from Auto Club Speedway is complete. The 150-lap/300-mile race had four cautions for a total of 12 laps. Overall, TriStar Motorsports had a good points weekend in Fontana, CA. This weekend the NASCAR Nationwide Series has their first off weekend of the 2014 season.

 

Mike Bliss Finishes 18th at Auto Club Speedway

Mike Bliss and the No. 19 Double Tree Hotel Toyota Camry qualified 18th for the TreatmyClot.com 300 at the two-mile track on Saturday.  On lap 55, Bliss was running 16th. During the first caution, the No. 19 Camry came to pit road for four tires, fuel, air pressure adjustment and a track bar adjustment. With 83 laps to go, the caution came out and Bliss was scored in the 16th position. The caution flag came out with 55 laps to go and the No. 19 Camry team decided to stay out and possibly get the wave around. Bliss and the No. 19 TriStar Motorsports Camry finished 18th and gained 26 driver points during the race.

 

David Starr Finishes 24th at Auto Club Speedway

David Starr and the No. 44 Niece Equipment Camry qualified 21st for the TreatmyClot.com 300 at Auto Club Speedway. When the first caution came out, Starr pitted for four tires, fuel and adjustments. At 95 laps to go, Starr was running in the 23rd position and was looking for additional adjustments on their next pit stop. Caution came out at lap 67 and Starr came to pit road for four tires, fuel, adjustments and a window tear off. Starr and the No. 44 Niece Equipment Camry finished the TreatmyClot.com 300 in the 24th position and gained 20 driver points.

 

Eric McClure Finishes 25th at Auto Club Speedway

Eric McClure and the No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® Camry qualified 33rd for Saturday’s race at Auto Club Speedway. At lap 55, McClure had worked his way from 33rd up to 26th and when the caution came at lap 67, McClure asked the No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® team for more adjustments. With 78 laps to go, McClure was running 27th. When the caution came out with 22 laps to go, McClure was a little tight and the team put on four tires and fuel. Eric McClure and the No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® Camry finished the TreatmyClot.com 300 25th and gained 19 drivers points.
