Petty Museum to Sell Original Adam Petty Diecast Cars

Proceeds to Benefit Petty Family Foundation

LEVEL CROSS, N.C. (August 15, 2016) – The Petty Museum today announced they will begin selling the original diecast cars of Adam Petty, the fourth generation driver of the Petty family. The Museum will sell the original No. 45 diecasts in 1/64 scale and 1/12 scale at a cost of $8 and $45 dollars respectively.

Proceeds from sales of the diecast cars will benefit the Petty Family Foundation. The Foundation will then donate funds to support Victory Junction, the camp built in honor of Adam Petty. Additional donations will go into the college tuition fund of Adam’s nieces and nephews.

“After Adam’s accident, all of his merchandise was taken off the shelves across the country,” explained Sharon Farlow, Executive Director, Petty Museum and daughter of Richard Petty. “The family and the Museum had this merchandise stored until earlier this year when we began to sell his shirts and hats. We are now ready to sell the diecast cars that we have in stock.”

“Our purpose is to always remember Adam,” continued Sharon. “This is an opportunity for fans to also remember Adam and at the same time make a purchase to give back to the Petty Family Foundation and help aid Victory Junction, a place that we all cherish.”

Fans may purchase the diecast cars and all remaining original Adam Petty merchandise at the Petty Museum located at 309 Branson Mill Road in Level Cross, N.C.

Fans may also call the Petty Museum at 336-495-1143 or visit Petty Museum on Facebook or Twitter for more information.
