Alex Bowman Quotes:

“I’m really excited to be going back to Kentucky Speedway this weekend. It’s a track where I’ll be making my third Nationwide start, so we’re going with a good amount of experience. Kentucky is the site of my very first race with RAB racing in 2012, and we had a really good run going until a part failure spoiled our chance at a good finish. The wide corners and rough spots in the track suit my driving style really well as you have to be loose to run fast and usually utilize multiple grooves to get the car to handle the way you want.”

Chris Rice Quotes:

“I love Kentucky Speedway because it has some character to it. Typically with our mile and a half tracks, they are all similar, but not this track. The pavement has worn out through the years and has multiple rough patches which make finding the perfect setup really difficult. As a result of those rough patches you need a balance between outright speed and downforce and it makes the particular aerodynamic package you decided to take to the track crucial for success. I feel like the combination between information we receive from TRD and our Joe Gibbs Racing Engines suit this track very well, and we look to improve on our 10th place finish from June.”
