GALLAGHER AT KANSAS: Although Spencer Gallagher is a newcomer in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, the 24-year-old has competed in four previous stock car events at Kansas Speedway. Three of those starts came in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, where Gallagher posted a seventh-place finish in the fall of 2013. Gallagher also raced in the Truck Series event at Kansas one year ago.

ON A ROLL: In addition to the seven Truck Series events on his 2014 schedule, Gallagher competes full-time in the ARCA Racing Series. The No. 23 Allegiant Travel Chevrolet team has posted two consecutive top-five and three top-10 finishes in the first four events of the season. Gallagher followed up his impressive second-place finish at Salem (Ind.) Speedway with a fifth-place at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway one week ago. The Las Vegas native currently sits fifth in the driver championship point standings.
CHASSIS INFORMATION: Gallagher will pilot Chassis No. 24 in the SFP 200 at Kansas Speedway. This is the same chassis Brendan Gaughan drove to a fourth-place finish at the track last season.
TALLADEGA RECAP: Last Saturday at the ARCA Racing Series event at Talladega Superspeedway, Gallagher started the International Motorsports Hall of Fame 200 in the 18th position. The first half of the event went caution-free, forcing teams to change their strategy and make green flag pit stops. After the field cycled through under green, Gallagher held the fourth position. Over the final 10 laps, Gallagher battled side-by-side with the outside lane and crossed the finish line in fifth-place.
MEET SPENCER: Gallagher and teammate Joey Coulter will visit the Team Chevy stage in the Midway at Kansas Speedway on Friday, May 9 at 2:20PM CT. Both GMS Racing drivers will host a question and answer session before signing autographs for the fans. Special Vertx prizes will be given out to lucky fans.
