CASSILL BACK ON TRACK AT LOUDON
LOUDON, N.H. – Landon Cassill will be shooting for a return to the Nationwide Series top 10 driver standings in Saturday’s Sta-Green 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
After two straight weeks in the top 10, Cassill fell to 11th with a 30th-place run last week at Daytona International Speedway. He had scored four straight finishes in the top 14 prior to Daytona.
“It was not fun to see us drop like that,” Cassill said. “We’ll turn things back around this week. I’ve been to Loudon a lot and like the track. We should be good there.”
Cassill has raced in seven Sprint Cup and two Nationwide races at the 1.058-mile track.
Practice for Nationwide drivers is scheduled at 1:10 p.m. (ET) and 3 p.m. Friday. Qualifying is set Saturday at 10:10 a.m., with the race to follow at 3:30 p.m.
