THIRD TIME’S A CHARM: Elliott Sadler and the No. 11 OneMain Financial team travel to Indianapolis, IN, this weekend to compete in the NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This will be the third-annual Nationwide Series race at the historical track, with Sadler competing in all three. In addition, Sadler has 12 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Indianapolis, with a pole award in 2005, two top-five and two top-10 finishes with 76 laps lead.

JUST THE STATS: After 18 races in the 2014 season, Sadler is currently in third place in the Nationwide Series driver championship point standings, eight points back from the lead. The Emporia, Va., native has one win, one pole award, five top-five and 13 top-10 finishes.

LOOKING BACK TO 2013: During the July 2013 event at Indianapolis Motor Speedway,Sadler and the OneMain Financial team started from the fourth spot. Fighting a loose-handling condition for the entire event, Sadler maneuvered his way around the 2.5-mile track to finish 14th.

LAST RACE: CHICAGOLAND: Last week, Sadler and the No. 11 team qualifiedseventh, but dealt with handling problems the entire race. Fighting the right-rear handing, Sadler battled around the 1.5-mile track to score a 10th-place finish.

I really enjoy competing here, however, I still have a chip on my shoulder after getting black-flagged while leading the race in 2012.  I think the only way to get over the bad memories is to win this coming weekend and celebrate with my team by kissing the bricks.”

RACE INFO: The Lilly Diabetes 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway will be on ESPN at 4:30 p.m. ET, on Saturday, July 26, as well as MRN and SIRIUSXM 90.

BRANCH DECAL PROGRAM: For each race that OneMain Financial is the primary sponsor on the No. 11 Toyota, two branches will be highlighted on Sadler’s rear quarter panels. The branches selected for Indianapolis are No. 154 in Castleton, IN, and No. 863 in Indianapolis, IN.

RACE CAR APPEARANCES: The No.11 OneMain Financial Toyota Camry will be in multiple locations this week in the state of Indiana.
