GMS Racing’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series History … Since entering the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) in 2013, the Charlotte, N.C.-based organization has logged 18 starts, earning two top-five finishes and three top-10 finishes, with an average starting position of 16.8 and an average finishing position of 17.6.

Pocono Celebrity Charity Poker Showdown … Joey Coulter and Spencer Gallagher will participate in the third annual Pocono Celebrity Charity Poker Showdown at the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs on Thursday, July 31. The Pocono Celebrity Charity Poker Showdown benefits children served by both the Armed Forces Foundation and The NASCAR Foundation.

Meet GMS Racing Drivers … Fans can visit the Team Chevrolet Racing display in the Pocono Raceway fan midway area for a question-and-answer session with Joey Coulter and Spencer Gallagher on Friday, August 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ET. Coulter and Gallagher are scheduled to participate in an autograph session with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series on Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., located in the Chalet Village at Pocono, behind Turn 3 next to the Gate 8 ticket booth.

Catch the Action … The Pocono Mountains 150 will be broadcast live on FOX Sports 1 on Saturday, August 2, starting with the pre-race show at 12:30 p.m. ET. It will also be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network (MRN) and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. Qualifying for the eleventh event on the 2014 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule will air Saturday at 10:00 a.m. ET on FOX Sports 1.

No. 21 Allegiant Travel Chevrolet Silverado

This Week’s GMS Racing’s Chevrolet Silverado at Pocono Raceway … Joey Coulter will pilot Chassis No. 022 in Saturday’s Pocono Mountains 150 at Pocono Raceway. This particular Chevrolet Silverado was previously a Richard Childress Racing Chassis which Coulter drove to victory lane for his first series win at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway in 2012. The Jeff Stankiewicz-led team has unloaded this chassis three times this season, at Kansas Speedway, Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway and at Texas Motor Speedway. On June 6 at Texas Motor Speedway, the GMS Racing prepared chassis qualified 19th and finished in ninth position.

“It’s Tricky” … Joey Coulter has found success at the “Tricky Triangle,” where he captured his first career victory at Pocono Raceway on August 4, 2012. Although this weekend marks Coulter’s first Pocono Raceway appearance with GMS Racing, the Miami Springs, Fla., driver has made three other NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at the 2.5-mile track. He has earned one victory, two top-five finishes and three top-10 finishes, with an average starting position of 8.7 and an average finishing position of 3.7. Coulter also has four ARCA Racing Series starts at the track, where he finished a career best fourth place in June 2009.

In the Rearview Mirror: Eldora Speedway … Joey Coulter drove GMS Racing’s No. 21 Allegiant Travel Chevrolet Silverado to a 14th-place finish on July 23 in the second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series 1-800-Carcash Mudsummer Classic at Eldora Speedway. Coulter qualified 17th and finished second in his heat race to advance to the feature event and start seventh.

This Week’s GMS Racing’s Chevrolet Silverado at Pocono Raceway … Spencer Gallagher will pilot Chassis No.061 in the Pocono Mountains 150 at Pocono Raceway. This Chevrolet Silverado finished 32nd with Gallagher at Martinsville Speedway on March 29 with the Ryan “Pickle” London-led team. Saturday will mark the second appearance of the chassis in the 2014 season with GMS Racing. Prior to being in the GMS Racing fleet, Chassis No. 061 spent time at Richard Childress Racing (RCR) with Brendan Gaughan.

Fourth Season Start … Pocono Raceway will mark Gallagher’s fourth start of the 2014 season with GMS Racing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Gallagher will compete in five additional events in the No. 23 Allegiant Travel Chevrolet Silverado, including events at Michigan International Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway, Phoenix International Raceway and at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

First Time at Pocono Raceway … Saturday will be Gallagher’s first career start at the Pocono Raceway in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, However, the Las Vegas native has five ARCA Racing Series starts at the Long Pond, Pa. facility. He has a career-best finish of fifth-place in August 2013.

In the Rearview Mirror: Iowa Speedway … Spencer Gallagher and the No. 23 Allegiant Travel team earned an eleventh-place result despite being involved in a single-truck incident on Lap 55 during the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Iowa Speedway on July 11. Gallagher passed two additional competitors during the final laps and crossed the finish line in the eleventh position, a career-best for Gallagher.
