September 20, 2014

Believe In Magic…The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) returns to the Magic Mile of New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) for the first time since 2011. Although Ben Kennedy has never made a NCWTS start at NHMS, he has participated in four previous events there in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. In those races, Kennedy earned a best start of eighth and a best finish of 16th.

Getting Hot In New England…Heater.com will once again be aboard the No. 31 Chevrolet Silverado. Heater.com is a world-leading heating product online retailer. The site features a wide variety of indoor and outdoor heating products to meet everyone’s needs. Heater.com gives consumers key information in the form of pictures, text and video allowing them to make the most informed buying decision. Heater.com is the “One Stop Shop for ALL Things Heating!” For more information, visit the company’s web site at www.heater.com.

Meet & Greet…Come meet Kennedy and his NCWTS competitors at the series autograph session this weekend. The Rookie of the Year candidate will be signing autographs at the Camping World display from 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19.

Watch and Listen…The UNOH 175 can be seen live on Saturday, September 20 at 12:30 p.m. EDT on FOX Sports 1. The event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Satellite Radio, channel 90.

Previous Race Recap…Kennedy overcame a 17th-place starting position to earn a top-10 finish in his second-career NCWTS event at Chicagoland Speedway. Despite starting the event with tight handling and a slight vibration, Kennedy was able to navigate his Heater.com Chevrolet to the front of the field, ultimately crossing the finish line in the seventh position and gaining two spots in the NCWTS Driver Point Standings.

Ben Kennedy on New Hampshire Motor Speedway:

“New Hampshire is a track I like a lot since it fits my driving style, but I’ve also had a couple of hard hits in my last two K&N races there; both times in Turn 2, actually. Neither of those were very fun. But, with four starts there, I’m pretty familiar with the track and feel that should help me out with a lot of the learning curve. Fortunately, with this being the first time the Truck Series has raced there in a few years, we’ve got a lot of practice scheduled. We had a great race last weekend in Chicago, so we’re hoping to keep the momentum going as we head into Loudon and this final stretch of races. I’m ready to get my Heater.com Silverado into Victory Lane.”

Cameron Hayley
No. 32 Cabinets By Hayley Silverado
New Hampshire Motor Speedway – UNOH 175
September 20, 2014Second Time’s A Charm…Making his second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) start this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Cameron Hayley will be back behind the wheel of the No. 32 Cabinets by Hayley Chevrolet Silverado for Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM). The 18-year-old Canada native competed at the 1.058-mile track in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East earlier this year and salvaged a top-15 finish after a flat tire set him and his TSM team back early in the race.

Back On Board…Supporting Hayley throughout his three NCWTS races this season, Cabinets by Hayley is the premier manufacturer of metal garage and storage cabinets in Canada, coast to coast. Formed in 1978, Hayley Industrial Electronics Ltd. produced high-powered, uninterruptible power supply units for heavy-duty applications. After nearly 30 years of high-standard systems in the industrial field, Hayley formed Cabinets by Hayley to service the residential market. Now, Cabinets by Hayley offers a full line of metal storage cabinets for the people that want the best in quality and appearance for their storage needs. To learn more, visit www.CabinetsByHayley.com.

Impressive Debut…Hayley made his NCWTS debut just three weeks ago at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, and although it was his first time competing in one of NASCAR’s top-three series, the young driver blended in with the veterans as he made his way around the twists and turns of the 2.459-mile road course. Hayley used both practice sessions to familiarize himself with the 10-turn course and was able to claim a top-10 starting position in his first attempt at NCWTS qualifying. Maintaining a spot within the top 15 for the majority of the race, Hayley was shuffled back two positions after the final restart, putting him just outside the top 10 for the final eight-lap shootout to the finish line. The No. 32 Cabinets by Hayley truck held strong and despite a solid effort to regain track position, Hayley settled for a strong 11th-lace finish in his NCWTS debut.

Stop on By…Be sure to stop by the NCWTS autograph session this weekend as Hayley and his fellow competitors sign autographs from 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19.

Watch and Listen…Don’t miss any of the action as the NCWTS makes its grand return to Loudon. The UNOH 175 can be seen live on Saturday, September 20 beginning at 12:30 p.m. EDT on FOX Sports 1. The race can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Satellite Radio, channel 90.

Cameron Hayley on Racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway:

“I can’t wait to get back behind the wheel of the No. 32 truck this weekend at Loudon. I learned a lot from my Turner Scott Motorsports team in Canada, and I’m really looking forward to working with Mike Hillman and the guys again. I competed at New Hampshire [Motor Speedway] in the K&N Series earlier this year and didn’t get the finish that I wanted due to a flat tire early in the race. I’ve been ready to get back in the Cabinets by Hayley truck since I climbed out in Canada.”
