Red Horse Racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway… In 16 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Red Horse Racing has earned one win (Timothy Peters, 2013), four top-five and eight top-10 finishes.

2014: The Year of the (Red) Horse… With16 of 22 races in the books for the 2014 season, Red Horse Racing holds the fifth and eighth positions in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver championship point standings with drivers Germán Quiroga and Timothy Peters, respectively. The RHR teams have collectively claimed seven top-five and 18 top-10 finishes this season.

About Red Horse Racing… Following the 2005 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Clean Line Motorsports became Red Horse Racing under new ownership. Seven races later, Red Horse Racing earned both its first pole award and win at Memphis Motorsports Park with Brandon Whitt behind the wheel of the No. 38 Toyota Tundra. Now in its 10th year of NCWTS competition, Red Horse Racing has logged a total of 416 starts, earning 12 wins, 80 top-five finishes, 174 top-10 finishes and 11 pole awards, with an average starting position of 13.3 and an average finishing position of 14.3.

Meet the Red Horse Racing Drivers… RHR’s Timothy Peters, Germán Quiroga and Brian Ickler are scheduled to participate in an autograph session at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with fellow NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers on Saturday, September 27 from 2-2:45 p.m. local time in the Neon Garage.

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month… Red Horse Racing will display a special decal on the Nos. 17 and 77 Toyota Tundras at the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (Sept. 27) in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Germán Quiroga pilots the No. 77 Toyota Tundra and is currently the only Mexican-born driver competing full time in any of NASCAR’s national touring series.

Hispanic Heritage Month is recognized in the United States from Sept. 15  – Oct. 15 each year, to celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

Catch the Action… FOX Sports 1’s live coverage of the NASCAR 350 is scheduled to begin on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 10 p.m. Eastern Time. The race will also be broadcast on the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90. Qualifying for the 17th event on the 2014 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule will take place on Sept. 27 at 6:30 p.m. ET, but will not be televised.

Toyota TundraThis Week’s OtterBox Toyota Tundra at Las Vegas Motor Speedway… Germán Quiroga will be competing in chassis No. 017 in the NASCAR 350 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend. This is the same Toyota Tundra that the No. 17 Red Horse Racing team earned an eighth-place starting position with at Kansas Speedway in May.

Quiroga at Las Vegas Motor Speedway… This will be Germán Quiroga’s second visit to Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The Mexico City native raced there in 2013 for Red Horse Racing where he battled a tight-handling Toyota Tundra all day and finished in the 21st-position after fuel strategy didn’t play out in the teams’ favor.

Race Rewind: New Hampshire Motor Speedway… The No. 77 NET10 Wireless Toyota Tundra team worked hard to find speed during practice sessions at New Hampshire Motor Speedway last weekend, and secured a 14th-place starting spot for the race during the knock-out qualifying session. Quiroga battled a loose-handling machine throughout the day, but the team worked hard to improve the Toyota Tundra during the scheduled pit stops. Quiroga was marked in the 15th-spot when the checkered flag was displayed.

Toyota TundraThis Week’s Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra at Las Vegas Motor Speedway… Timothy Peters will pilot chassis No. 018 in the NASCAR 350 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday, Sept. 27. This is the same Toyota Tundra that he earned a third-place qualifying position and finished seventh with at Michigan International Speedway earlier this season.

Peters History at Las Vegas Motor Speedway… Timothy Peters returns to Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend as the reigning NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race winner. His victory in September 2013 was his first win at the Las Vegas, Nevada race track, where he has also earned three top-five and four top-10 finishes in six starts, and has an average finishing position 11.5.

“Charging Charlie” and the Red Horse Squadron Join the No. 17 Team… Timothy Peters will visit the Air Force’s own Red Horse Squadron (RHUSAF) on Friday, Sept. 26. The group is a civil engineering unit working at Nellis Air Force Base. The Red Horse Squadron will demonstrate to Peters the demolition that they do on their missions. The RHUSAF’s mascot, “Charging Charlie” will be featured on the hood of the No. 17 Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Meet the Press… Defending race champion Timothy Peters is scheduled to participate in a press luncheon hosted by Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Friday, Sept. 26 at noon at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace.

Race Rewind: New Hampshire Motor Speedway… The No. 17 Red Horse Racing team was quick from the start at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, finishing in the top 10 during all three practice sessions and advancing to the final round of knock-out qualifying where they earned an eighth place starting spot for the race. Peters found himself as high as third, but fell back to 11th during the last restart of the day, where he remained until the end of the race.

Toyota TundraThis Week’s Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra at Las Vegas Motor Speedway… Brian Ickler will be competing in chassis No. 016 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend. This is the same Toyota Tundra that he earned a fourth-place starting position with at Kansas Speedway while competing for Red Horse Racing in May.

Ickler’s History at Las Vegas Motor Speedway… This will be Brian Ickler’s fourth time competing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where he has earned two top-10 finishes in three starts. His highest finish was a seventh-place result after starting ninth in 2010. He has an average starting position of 11.3 and average finish of 14.7 at the Las Vegas, Nevada race track.

Race Rewind: Charlotte Motor Speedway… The last time that Brian Ickler competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series was for Red Horse Racing in May at Charlotte Motor Speedway, where he earned a fifth-place starting spot for the race. Ickler competed in the first four races of the 2014 season with Red Horse Racing where he earned a 10th-place finish at Martinsville Speedway in March.
