No. 31 Heater.com Chevrolet Silverado
Martinsville Speedway – Kroger 200
October 25, 2014

Tick Tock…The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) heads from the largest track on the circuit to the smallest as the series makes its way to Martinsville Speedway for the second time in 2014. Kennedy has two previous starts at the 0.526-mile track, which resulted in his two career-best finishes of fourth and third. With an average finish of 3.5 and the same chassis the 22-year-old raced in the spring, Kennedy hopes to leave Martinsville with the illustrious Ridgeway grandfather clock.

Heat Things Up…Heater.com will once again be aboard the No. 31 Chevrolet Silverado. Heater.com is a world-leading heating product online retailer. The site features a wide variety of indoor and outdoor heating products to meet everyone’s needs. Heater.com gives consumers key information in the form of pictures, text and video allowing them to make the most informed buying decision. Heater.com is the “One Stop Shop for ALL Things Heating!” For more information, visit the company’s web site at www.heater.com.

Vote For Me…Voting for the 2014 NCWTS Most Popular Driver is open and Kennedy needs your help. Visit www.VoteForBenKennedy.com every day from now until November 14. Kennedy took home the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Most Popular Driver award last season.

Watch and Listen…The Kroger 200 can be seen live on Saturday, October 25 at 1:00 p.m. EDT on FOX Sports 1. The event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Satellite Radio, channel 90.

Previous Race Recap…Kennedy was off to a strong start in his first NCWTS race at the legendary Talladega Superspeedway, posting the fastest practice lap and running in the top five for much of the event. However, contact from another competitor on lap 65 sent the Heater.com Chevrolet into the wall in a series of hard impacts, ultimately ending Kennedy’s day and resulting in a 28th-place finish.

Ben Kennedy on Martinsville Speedway:

“I’ve been looking forward to Martinsville since we left in the spring; that track has been pretty good to me so far. We’re bringing back the same truck we raced there earlier in the year, which was really good at the end of that race. We had a tough race last weekend in Talladega, so I’m excited to move on to a track where I’ve run well in the past. I think that this is a track that we’ve got a great chance at getting our first win, so I’m hoping I get to leave on Saturday with the grandfather clock.”
