· Buescher at Texas Motor Speedway
o Chris Buescher heads to his home track of Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. Buescher’s home town of Prosper is located just under an hour away from the 1.5-mile track. The rookie of the year contender makes his third NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. In his previous two races, Buescher’s best finish is 17th, which came in 2013.
· The Car
o Chassis RK-863 hits the track for the third time this season. This chassis has previously raced at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Chicagoland Speedway finishing 11th and 12th, respectively.
· On the Car
o The No. 60 Ford Mustang carries the Bit-O-Honey colors this weekend. The honey flavored taffy and almond candy was first manufactured in 1924 and is now produced by Pearson Candy Company in Minneapolis.
· Recapping Charlotte Motor Speedway
o Buescher and the No. 60 RFRShop.com team qualified 13th for the Friday night NNS race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Buescher’s Mustang was solid, running a strong race and earning his best finish at the 1.5-mile track, crossing the finish line in sixth.
