JOEY LOGANO, No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Ford Fusion (Finished 8th) – “That is not quite where we wanted to be there at the end. Todd made a gutsy call there at the end to put four on it and we were back to 16th there with 12 to go and really at that point he was leaving it up to me to be aggressive and we were able to pass a lot of cars to get up to 8th. Getting a top-10 is great but we want to win some more. We just didn’t quite have the speed. We had speed in the beginning of the race and made some adjustments and got better and then the track changed and we couldn’t keep up with it. We couldn’t fix the car no matter what we tried we were going the wrong way. We still have some setup issues we have to try to work out with the Shell Pennzoil Ford and we will be back at it soon. We have speed in qualifying and started up front and ran up front but when we lost our track position it was really hard to get back up there.”

BRAD KESELOWSKI, No. 2 Alliance Truck Parts Ford Fusion (Finished 6th) – “We had that one run where we got out to the lead and led like 50 laps which was second to Harvick, that is something here. We just didn’t quite have enough speed. I thought we were about a third of fourth place car and got shuffled to finish where we did. It was a great effort. We have to keep w2orking to find more speed. There are a lot of Chevy’s up there and we need to get our Fords running a tiny bit better. I feel like it was kind of a decent, nonchalant day. We didn’t really have the speed we needed to run with the 4 and 41. Everybody was on a different strategy it seemed and it didn’t quite pan out for us to get the third or fourth we deserved but we ran really well. We just have to find some more speed. That is the common theme to keep up with the 4 car and even the 41 this week.”  SOME GUYS HAD REAR TIRE GRIP PROBLEMS FROM SHIFTING. DID YOU EXPERIENCE THAT? I think everybody lost some of their rear tires except for the 4 and 41. That was pretty equal.”

RICKY STENHOUSE JR., No. 17 Fastenal Ford Fusion (Finished 12th) – “It was a good finish. We ran top-15 the first run and lost a little ground in the pits and then made the wrong adjustment I think and got us too tight. We fell back and lost all our track position. Nick did a good job of getting us two tires and making sure we kept doing that to gain those positions and we had some really good restarts at the end that propelled our Fastenal Ford up a few more spots and got a good finish out of it. We needed that. It has been a tough start to the year but that was definitely a big positive for us.”

ARIC ALMIROLA, No. 43 Eckrich Ford Fusion (Finished 19th) – “We started off back in the pack after qualifying but felt we had a good race trim to get us back toward the front. We started off really loose in and off the corner and tight in the center. Trent (Owens) and the Eckrich team worked through adjustments and got the car much better in the middle of the race. Once we got into the Top-20, the car struggled in traffic. Still, we finished 18th. Hopefully, that will still keep us in contention in the points. Our intermediate program has been good this year, so we’ll look to getting up front next week in California.”
