Michael Annett Race Preview: Martinsville

HScott Motorsports NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race Preview
Michael Annett
No. 46 Pilot Flying J Chevrolet
Martinsville Speedway
STP 500 | March 29, 2015

The First Short Track Race of 2015…Michael Annett and his No. 46 Pilot Flying J team will tackle the 0.526-mile Martinsville Speedway in Virginia this weekend, the first short track on the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule. Sunday’s race is the first of six events held at tracks shorter than one mile.

Annett’s History at Martinsville…Annett, a five-year veteran of the NASCAR Xfinity Series, has only competed at Martinsville twice – both coming during his rookie campaign in 2014. Because the Xfinity Series does not run at Martinsville, Annett’s efforts at the facility last season were a trial by fire. He improved his finishing spot from the spring race, when he finished 31st, to the fall, when he scored a 24th-place result.
