Christi Passmore Announces Limited Busch and Truck Series Schedule for 2005

Posted on November 27, 2004

By Allen Madding  -  About Allen

Christi Passmore concluded the 2004 ARCA RE/MAX Series 8th place in the season points racking up 4 top-5’s and 10 top-10’s. After competing in two full seasons with the ARCA RE/MAX Series, Passmore is planning on competing in the speedway portion of the ARCA RE/MAX schedule in 2005 and a limited number of events in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and the NASCAR Busch Series.

“I really want to run a variety of races and series next season to see what fits my driving style and ability best in order to prepare for a full season of competition in a single series again in 2006”, said Passmore. “I have been very fortunate when it comes to sponsorship throughout my driving career,” said Passmore. “But as we prepare for NASCAR, the added expense to buy the new equipment and compete at that level increases greatly. For that reason we are basing our plans and schedules for 2005 on our ability to gain sponsorship dollars. I think we bring a strong racing organization along with a solid track record in all forms of motorsports that we have competed in over the years. We are all hopeful that we will be able to get the funding to move forward in 2005.”

Passmore started her racing career in open wheel sprint cars across the Midwestern United States and New Zealand. During the 2003 ARCA RE/MAX Series season, Passmore earned an eighth place finish in championship points along with the runner-up position in Rookie of the Year points.
