– 9/18/2007 – Chris Wimmer

Saturday in the Smith’s Las Vegas 350 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Wimmer climbs back behind

“It’s been a lot of fun to
be back in Dallas at the
shop this week helping to
get the truck ready for this
weekend,” stated Wimmer.
“I’m really looking forward
to being back on track with
the Craftsman Truck Series.”
This weekend will be
Wimmer’s 22nd
career start in the NASCAR
Craftsman Truck Series,
however, it is his first
visit to the Las Vegas Motor
Speedway behind the wheel of
an NCTS truck. This
will be Wimmer’s second NCTS
start for the 2007 season.
Wimmer and the Jeff Milburn
Racing team finished 30th
in the Sam’s Town 400 at

June, retiring early due to
engine problems.
"We had such a strong start
in that race,” Wimmer
stated. “I’m looking forward
to using that momentum at
Vegas. Hopefully we can get
a good finish and
demonstrate what we can do.”
Wimmer has spent his summer
running Late Model races
across Wisconsin, climbing behind the wheel of the
family-owned and operated

Detjens Memorial at Golden
