Carl Edwards pushed Clint Bowyer out of the way with 25 laps to go and held off Joey Logano for his first Nationwide Series victory of the season. This was his 14th career win in the series and the 92nd win for car owner Jack Roush.

“What happened with Clint, I’m not real proud of. I like Clint a lot and I have a lot of respect for him and I just got into him. I dove for the bottom and there wasn’t enough room and I hit him.” Edwards said.

Edwards did not do his trademark back-flip in respect of drag racer Scott Kalitta’s death earlier in the day. “Today, what happened to Mr. Kalitta, and the way I passed Clint, I just didn’t feel like doing a back-flip.” Edwards said.

Bowyer was not happy at all about the pass for the lead. Hopefully feelings will not carry on and into the Sprint Cup series race on Sunday.

Joey Logano finished second. This was Logano's third top-10 finish in four starts.

Bowyer finished third, David Ragan fourth and David Reutimann finished fifth.
