There are a lot contests
going on that should
garner the interest of
NASCAR fans. Many prizes
are “once in a lifetime”
opportunities for
fans to win something
that only a chosen few
ever get to experience.
Some fans get to wave
the green flag at the
start of the race or
even be the grand
martial and yell
“Gentlemen, Start Your
Engines!” One well known
contest, sponsored by
Crown Royal actually
results in a Sprint Cup
race being named after
them with full VIP
experiences including
pit and garage passes
and being introduced to
the drivers at
introductions, on the
stage of course. A quick
search found over 50
contests that end before
the end of the year.
Here at
www.speedwaymedia.com
we currently have two
contests running with
one coming to its
conclusion on Saturday
September 27 where you
can win 2 tickets to the
Martinsville race on
Sunday October 19. With
a little homework you
can answer the three
easy questions to be
eligible for the random
drawing. Go here to find
out more and to enter:

We’re also giving away
autographed Kevin
Harvick hats courtesy of
his primary sponsor if
you do your homework on
Kevin Harvick, his
sponsors Shell and
Penzoil products. This
contest is a little
harder but there will be
multiple winners so the
work will be worth it.

contest and how to win
the prize.
There was one other
contest that caught my
eye and that is a
contest sponsored by
Gillette and the “Young
Guns” and it ends
November 15. This
contest is one where you
have to go to their
website and put in
codes. It’s not the
contest itself but the
prize that is great
here. 10 winners’ weekly
winners will have the
opportunity to learn how
to drive a Richard Petty
Experience car under the
direction of the “Young
Guns” who currently are
Ryan Newman, Kurt Busch,
Kasey Kahne, Clint
Bowyer, Denny Hamlin,
and Carl Edwards. You
can learn more about the
contest here:

The
press release for the
contest also noted how
the company was going to
be involved with the
chase this year.
“Gillette has enlisted
NASCAR.COM to support
its “TimeShaver
Challenge,” an extension
of its long-standing
Gillette Young Guns
program. The “TimeShaver
Challenge” aligns
consumers with a
specific Gillette Young
Guns driver and rewards
consumers whose driver
spends the least amount
of time on pit road
throughout the 10 races
of the Chase for the
Sprint Cup. Weekly
winners will receive a
free trial subscription
to NASCAR.COM’s
acclaimed TrackPass,
among other prizes.
Grand prize winners and
a guest will then get
the chance to
participate in a
customized driving
school led by the
Gillette Young Guns. NASCAR.COM
also will supply
Gillette with the
official pit time data,
and will extend the
program to include a pit
road photo gallery and
video sponsorships.
During October, Gillette
will be the official
sponsor of the
NASCAR.COM driver
standings. Its creative
messaging will be
featured on Gillette
Young Gun driver site
pages and integrated
throughout NASCAR.COM
with homepage roadblocks
and other customized
display units.”
So,
as the season winds down
so will the contests so
don’t waste any time
trying to be a winner.
Its up to you to enter.
