KESELOWSKI (on what it
takes to get around
Kentucky…) - "I haven't run
any Nationwide races at
Kentucky, but I've been
there before with the Truck
Series. You've got to be
fast to run well there.
You've also got to have a
car that handles well and
just a mistake-free race.
That's really what it takes
to be successful at this
level in racing. That's what
we had in Nashville and we
came away with a win. I
think we've got a good shot
at doing the same at
Kentucky this weekend."
KESELOWSKI (on running
the non-companion races…) -
"I see every week as an
opportunity for this Navy
team to win. We've got great
cars and a great crew
working on them. I think
there's only one or two Cup
guys who aren't running this
stretch of races, so I don't
see it being a whole lot
different than any other
race we've had this year.
The only big difference is
track time. When they fly in
to these races we're on a
more level playing ground
with track time because they
don't get a couple extra
hours on Friday and then
another hour or two right
before our race on Saturday
in their Cup cars. The more
equal amount of playing time
does help even things out
for the guys who just run in
the Nationwide Series."
