BACK TO VICTORY LANE – On
Saturday Brad Keselowski
will be looking to return to
Victory Lane at New
Hampshire Motor Speedway.
The driver of the No. 88
Navy Chevrolet for JR
Motorsports first visited
Victory Lane in the
Nationwide Series earlier
this month at Nashville
Superspeedway. Despite only
having one previous Truck
Series start at NHMS,
Keselowski has visited
Victory Lane at the track on
two occasions. The
Keselowski-family Truck
Series team scored wins at
the track in 1999 with
Dennis Setzer and in 2002
with Terry Cook. The
youngest Keselowski was a
crewmember for his family’s
operation on both occasions.
In 1999 he served as the
team’s scorer for the race
and in 2002 he was the team
engineer.
LOUDON EXPERIENCE –
Keselowski is a Nationwide
Series rookie at NHMS this
weekend, but he has one
Truck Series start at the
1.058-mile track. In 2005 he
started 30th, led several
laps and finished 21st in
his family-owned Truck team
entry.
LATEST RESULTS – Last
weekend at The Milwaukee
Mile Keselowski scored his
first Nationwide Series pole
award, which was a first for
JR Motorsports as well. He
went on to lead 145 laps of
the 250-lap race, but
finished eighth after
contact with another
competitor damaged the Navy
Chevrolet.
JRM NO. 88 SHOWING
SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT –
The JR Motorsports No. 88
Navy team has come a long
way in the last year. At
this point last year, 17
races into the season, the
team had scored one top-five
and four top-10 finishes.
The Navy Chevy led 28 laps,
had an average start of
23.1, an average finish of
22.7 and was 24th in owner
points. In the same period
in 2008, the team has one
win, one pole award, five
top-fives and nine top-10
finishes. The No. 88 Navy
Chevy has led 236 laps, has
an average start of 12.1, an
average finish of 11.3 and
the team is currently ranked
fourth in the Nationwide
owner point standings.
CHASSIS NO. 434 – The No.
88 Navy team will utilize
Chassis No. 434 this weekend
at New Hampshire Motor
Speedway. This is the same
car the team used last
weekend at The Milwaukee
Mile.
USS CONSTITUTION – The
USS Constitution is the Navy
team’s Fleet Honoree for
this weekend’s Camping World
200 at New Hampshire Motor
Speedway. The USS
Constitution is the oldest
warship afloat still in
commission. “Old Ironsides”
promotes the United States
Navy and America’s naval
heritage through outreach,
public access and historic
demonstration, in port and
underway.

KESELOWSKI (on the 2008
season so far…) - "The Navy
team has had a great year so
far. We made a bunch of
goals at the beginning of
the year and we’re steadily
marking them off as we go
through the season. We’ve
won our first race and
scored a bunch of great
finishes so far, but we’re
focused on winning a few
more and continuing to run
up front to keep ourselves
in contention for the
championship."
KESELOWSKI (on the
improvements the No. 88 team
has made…) - "The No. 88
team has come a long way in
the last year. It’s been
pretty incredible to see the
steady improvements everyone
has made. We’ve got great
cars and great people who
work on them. They’ve
improved a lot and that’s
allowed me to continue to
improve as a driver as
well."
KESELOWSKI (on working
for his family’s team…) -
"Working on my family’s
Truck team was a special
experience for all of us. We
spent many hours working in
the shop together and
traveled to all of the races
together as well. My
recollections of those trips
are some of my favorite
memories. I think I held
just about every job someone
could have on a race team
during those years. We all
pitched in wherever we were
needed. I think that
experience helps me
appreciate things a bit more
now as a driver I have a
really good understanding of
what goes into getting a
team to the track to compete
and I know just how much
wrecking cars puts stress on
everyone involved. I also
got to see just how much fun
it was when we won. We got
to experience that a couple
times at Loudon, and those
are really cool memories.”
