Bobby East, driver of the No. 09 Zaxby’s Ford F-150, earned the pole for tonight’s Power Stroke Diesel by International 200 at O'Reilly Raceway Park. This is East’s first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series pole.

BOBBY EAST – No. 09 Zaxby’s Ford F-150 – “I have a great F-150 truck that I’m driving. I want to thank everybody at Zaxby’s and all these guys behind us. They do all the work. I just get in and drive.”

YOU HAD A BIG WIN LAST NIGHT, DO YOU HAVE A SHOT AT WINNING TONIGHT? “I think so. We have a pretty decent truck. We were good in the cloud this morning and we made a few changes after happy hour, which has been working out for us. I think we’ll be all right.”

CONGRATULATIONS, YOUR SUCCESSFUL WEEKEND CONTINUES. “Thank you. I’ve got to thank Chad Norris our crew chief. He set this thing up great. We were good in the morning. Then we made a few changes after happy hour. Obviously it helped us out. We’re going to make a few more changes here before we drop the green. I think we’ll be all right.”

CAN YOU BACK-UP THE WIN TONIGHT AFTER WINNING LAST NIGHT? “I sure hope so. We’re going to give it all we’ve got. We’ve got a good F-150, but it’s 200 laps, it’s a long race. We’re going to have to stay out of trouble. All my guys, they did a great job on pit road. There’s no question. I’ve got to thank everybody at Ford Racing and try and win it for them.”

WHAT’S YOU’RE LANE CHOICE? “I think I’m going to go with the outside. We were just talking about that. I think we’re going to go with the outside, but that’s not for sure.”

DID YOU FORD F-150 FEEL THAT STRONG IN YOUR QUALIFYING LAPS? DID YOU KNOW YOU HAD THE TOP TRUCK? “Yeah, it felt pretty good. We were a little tight in the center, so we were a little worried about it, but that track is going to tighten a little bit tonight. But, I don’t think the track will change too much. I think we’ll be good. I’ve just got to thank everybody on the Zaxby’s Ford F-150 team. They’ve worked really hard. This is their pole award, too.”
