Chase race No. 2 to be titled “Camping World RV 400 presented by AAA”

DOVER, Del. – A familiar name at the Monster Mile will now present one of the most highly anticipated races in the 10 race “Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.” Dover International Speedway and AAA Mid-Atlantic announced today that the Wilmington, Del.-based organization will expand its partnership with the Speedway to include presenting sponsor rights of the Sept. 21, 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, named the “Camping World RV 400 presented by AAA.”

AAA Mid-Atlantic is a longstanding partner of the Monster Mile and recently announced a seven-year agreement with Dover that included sponsorship of Dover’s new focal point, the Monster Monument at Victory Plaza, presented by AAA. The partnership extension also included entitlement of Dover’s annual NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race, the “AAA Insurance 200,” and solidified AAA’s position as the Official Auto Club and Home, Life, and Automobile Insurance of Dover International Speedway.

AAA will promote the race with a special sweepstakes among its members and throughout the region. AAA Mid-Atlantic’s involvement with the upcoming September race at Dover marks its first sponsorship of a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event in the history of the organization.
