No. 18 Kyle Busch driver of the M&M's Toyota, will have a new set of "Eyes in the Sky" this week. Jeff Dickerson, who has been Busch's spotter since early 2005 and 18 cup victories is out this week. Eddies D'hondt, will be his new "Eyes in the Sky", D'hondt has been Busch's spotter for all three races this weekend. Bill Janitz, of True Speed Communication Busch's PR Manager said "D'hondt will be the spotter on a interim basis." We will also try out others, before making a final decision."
Dickerson eventually became Busch’s agent and business manager but that job was transferred to another member of the Motorsports Management International staff prior to the 2010 season. Busch had this to say of Dickerson, “Jeff was going to leave at the end of the year and go do something else anyway, so we figured we might as well get it going now and build something with a spotter for next year and hopefully before the Chase starts,” Busch said after finishing second in the Camping World Truck Series race Friday night at O’Reilly Raceway Park
Busch said. “He did a good job. He gave me all the information I needed." Can a new set of "eyes" bring Busch his third win this season? Busch currently sits sixth in points, and is 257 points behind points leader Kevin Harvick.
