NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS)
NEWS, NOTES & NUMBERS: Toyota Camry drivers have combined for nine wins (Kyle Busch -- Las Vegas, Bristol-1,
Richmond and Bristol-2; Denny Hamlin -- Pocono-2 and Richmond-2; David Reutimann -- Charlotte; Joey Logano -- New
Hampshire; and Brian Vickers -- Michigan-2), 32 top-fives and 60 top-10 finishes through 26 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
(NSCS) races this season … Hamlin and Vickers will represent Toyota in the 10-race 'Chase for the Sprint Cup' beginning
this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway … Hamlin is seeded fourth (5,020 points) in the Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR)
No. 11 FedEx Camry and Vickers is seeded eighth (5,010 points) in his first career Chase … Camry driver Logano returns to
New Hampshire following his win at the New England oval in June.
DENNY HAMLIN, No. 11 FedEx Freight Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Do you feel confident your team has a chance to win a championship this year?
"We go into each season hoping to win a championship, and I feel like we have been a top-five car each and every year,
whether the points showed that or not. We haven't had championship-caliber finishes except for our rookie year, but I feel
now our performance on the race track is better than it has ever been in my career. We are being competitive and competing
for race wins every week. That's something we didn't have in our rookie year when we were racing for the championship. We
were racing for the championship on short tracks. Now I feel like our big track program, our mile-and-a-half mile program is
better than our short track program. With those six or seven races on big tracks, I'm looking forward to because it sets up
nicely for us."
BRIAN VICKERS, No. 83 Red Bull Camry, Red Bull Racing Team
Do you think your team can contend for a championship in the Chase?
"I think we do. I guess the Chase is about who can be the best for 10 races. That's the bottom line. And the past 10 races, I
don't know the exact statistics, but several people have told me we were one of the best, if not the best teams, collected the
most points. To me that proves to us and to everyone, what the team is capable of doing. We have done it for the past 10
weeks. There's no reason we can't do it for the next 10 weeks. There's a lot of challenging teams in this Chase, very
competitive teams and talented drivers. So we have got a big road ahead of us, but are we capable of it, absolutely. I think we
have proven that. It doesn't mean that we will. We have still got a lot of work ahead of us."
JAY FRYE, General Manager, Red Bull Racing Team
What does it mean for a young organization to get into the Chase?
"Our goals for the year were to win a race, win a pole and get into the Chase so we've got that. For a company that is only
two-and-a-half years old, it's pretty phenomenal. We're still a small team -- we're a two-car team so that's unusual if you
look at everyone else. Part of it has been that when Red Bull came into this sport in 2007, they came in a big way. Their
expectations were high, we're very fortunate that they give us the opportunity to do what we do. They give us a chance to
compete at a high level and for us that is very exciting. We're paying them back a little bit."
JOEY LOGANO, No. 20 Home Depot Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Are you looking forward to racing at New Hampshire after your win there in June?
"I am pretty excited to be heading back to New Hampshire as the most recent winner. That was a huge win for this team and
it gave us a ton of momentum. Winning was never a spoken goal of the team, but it sure was nice to get it. I think every
driver holds a special place for their first win, and I was fortunate to have mine at the closest track to where I first began
racing. That's pretty cool."
KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 M&M's Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
What is your plan for the final 10 Sprint Cup races?
"Go out and win some more. We just need to work on the consistency. We picked up at some tracks that we needed to and
we faltered at some tracks that we thought we were good at. Just wasn't our year and wasn't meant to be for some reason.
The good Lord upstairs put me in this predicament for a reason, and one of these days I'll figure that out and say what it is.
We'll be looking to win some races in the rest of the season and hopefully go out with a bang."

TODD BODINE, No. 30 Lumber Liquidators Tundra, Germain Racing
Do you enjoy racing at New Hampshire?
"We always seem to have a pretty decent setup for the Lumber Liquidators Tundra when we get to New Hampshire. I've
always run well at the track and I love New England. Racing at Loudon is like going home. I get to see all my friends racing
in the Modifieds. It's a great trip and I hope we can make it special for Lumber Liquidators."
BRIAN SCOTT, No. 16 Albertsons Tundra, Xpress Motorsports
Why is New Hampshire such a special track for you?
"It is a fun track. It is flat with long sweeping corners which also allows you to carry speed. It is a very racy track, you can
run a variety of grooves. It is a rhythm racetrack. You have two corners which are similar. You get a rhythm in a green flag
run at Loudon and you can make up some positions. Track position will be important and pit strategy will be important. New
Hampshire is special to me because I got my first truck series start there."
TERRY COOK, No. 25 Cajun Industries-Harris Trucking Tundra, HT Motorsports
Do you enjoy racing at New Hampshire?
"New Hampshire is one of the flattest tracks that we go to. I was fortunate enough to get a victory there in 2002, but ever
since they added that second groove a few years ago, it's really fun to race on. The trucks usually put on a great show at
Loudon, and this year will be no exception. I really feel like the Cajun Industries-Harris Trucking Tundra is making some
great strides and we're looking forward to getting to New Hampshire and compete for the win."
