Toyota Takes Fourth Straight Truck Series Manufacturer's Title
Posted On 11/1/2009 9:59:09 AM

TALLADEGA, Ala. (October 31, 2009) -- When Kyle Busch crossed the finish line first Saturday
at Talladega Superspeedway, it enabled Toyota to clinch its fourth consecutive NASCAR
Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) manufacturer's championship.

Toyota has won the NCWTS manufacturer's championship each year since 2006, along with
a pair of driver titles for Todd Bodine (2006) and Johnny Benson (2008). Overall, this is the sixth
time Toyota has earned a NASCAR manufacturer's title since the start of the 2004 season.
Toyota recently also captured its second consecutive NASCAR Nationwide Series
manufacturer's crown.

The performance of seven full-time teams fielding nine Tundras -- Billy Ballew Motorsports,
Germain Racing, HT Motorsports, Randy Moss Motorsports, Red Horse Racing, Wyler Racing
and Xpress Motorsports -- all contributed to the NCWTS manufacturer's title. In addition,
Premier Racing and Stringer Motorsports ran partial seasons with Tundras in 2009. Tundra
drivers have combined for 13 wins, eight poles, 58 top-five results and 118 top-10 finishes this
season with three races remaining on the schedule.

"The Camping World Truck Series is a great platform for Toyota to showcase its full-size
Tundra pickup truck, and four straight manufacturer's championships in the series really
enhances that exposure," said Ed Laukes, Toyota's corporate motorsports marketing manager.
"We have always maintained that success in NASCAR is a product of the people involved, and
we have been fortunate to align ourselves with championship-caliber teams and exceptional
drivers. Our Tundra teams overcame many challenges in today's harsh economic environment
to persevere and help us earn this title."

Kyle Busch (six wins), Mike Skinner (three wins) and Todd Bodine (two wins) have all won
multiple races for Toyota this season. In addition, Brian Scott and Timothy Peters each earned
their first career victories in a Tundra in 2009.

"It is such an honor to have been associated with Toyota for all these years," says Skinner,
who has raced a Tundra in every NCWTS race since Toyota joined the series in 2004. "We
knew that Toyota had the leadership to succeed in this form of racing, and four straight
manufacturer titles are the result. We are just fortunate to have contributed a bunch of points to
these past four championships and hope to continue that for years to come."

A total of 25 different drivers have participated in the Camping World Truck Series in a
Tundra this year, including nine -- T.J. Bell, Bodine, Stacy Compton, Terry Cook, Tayler Malsam,
Timothy Peters, Scott, Skinner and David Starr -- who have competed in all 22 events for
Toyota.

Since joining NCWTS competition in 2004, Toyota has won 64 races and captured 68 poles
in 147 races.
