        Chevrolet clinched the 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Manufacturers’ Cup champions after 29 races
        Team Chevy drivers have won 17 races in ’09, more than any other manufacturer
        650 NASCAR Sprint Cup Wins!! Jimmie Johnson scored the landmark victory for Chevy at Lowe’s Motor Speedway
        Team Chevy drivers have led the most laps in ’09 – 5,163 of 9,579 (54.0% of all laps raced)
        Team Chevy drivers have had more top-five (5) finishes in ’09 – 82 total – more than any other manufacturer
        Team Chevy drivers have had more top-10 finishes than any other manufacturer in ’09 – 164 total
        A total of 16 Team Chevy drivers will take the green flag for the Dickies 500, more than any other manufacturer
        Jeff Gordon, No. 24 DuPont Impala SS, will start on the pole at Texas Motor Speedway
        Chevrolet  has gone to victory lane six (6) times in the 17 previous NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) races at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS)
o        Jeff Burton, No. 31 Caterpillar Impala SS, has two TMS victories including the inaugural event at TMS in ’97, plus the spring race in ‘07
o        Jeff Gordon, No. 24 DuPont Impala SS, won the Spring, ’09 race at TMS
o        Jimmie Johnson, No. 48 Lowe’s/Kobalt Tools Impala SS won the fall ’07 race at TMS en route to claiming his second consecutive NSCS championship
o        Dale Earnhardt Jr., No. 88 National Guard/ AMP Energy Impala SS has one (1) win at TMS. (’00)
o        Mark Martin, No. 5 CARQUEST/ Kellogg’s Impala SS has one (1) TMS victory (’98)
o        Ryan Newman, No. 39 Haas Automation/US Army Impala SS, has one (1) TMS win (’03)
o        Tony Stewart, No. 14 Office Depot/Old Spice Impala SS, has won once (1) at TMS (’06)
        Team Chevy has six drivers in the 2009 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, more than any other manufacturer. Currently the top-five Chase point positions are held by Team Chevy drivers. With three (3) races remaining, Team Chevy drivers rank as follows:
o        Jimmie Johnson, No 48 Lowe’s/Kobalt Tools Impala SS, is the points leader with six (6) wins to-date in 2009 and a 184 point lead
        In 12 TMS starts, Johnson has one (1) win, six (6) top-five and nine (9) top-10 finishes
o        Mark Martin, No. 5 CARQUEST/ Kellogg’s Impala SS, is second (2nd) in the Chase standings with five (5) wins to-date in 2009
        In 17 previous TMS starts, Martin has one (1) win, five (5)  top-five and nine (9) top-10 finishes
o        Jeff Gordon, No. 24 DuPont Impala SS, is currently third (3rd) in the Chase standings with one (1) win to-date in 2009
        In 17 starts at Texas, Gordon has one (1) win, seven (7)  top-5 and nine (9) top-10 finishes with one (1) pole
o        Juan Pablo Montoya, No. 42 Target Dream in Color Impala SS, is fourth (4th) in the standings after six (6) Chase races
        Has five (5) previous starts at Texas with two (2) top-10  finishes
o        Tony Stewart, No. 14 Office Depot/Old Spice Impala SS is fifth (5th) in the Chase points order with four (4) wins to-date in 2009
        In 15 TMS starts, Stewart has one (1) win, four (4) top-five and nine (9) top-10 finishes
o        Ryan Newman, No. 39 Haas Automation/U.S. Army Impala SS, is eighth (8th) in the 2009 Chase standings
        In 12 TMS starts, Newman has one (1) win; three (3)  top-fives, three (3) top-10 finishes and two poles
