Newman wins IROC race #1
-
Ryan
Newman beat fellow Nextel Cup Series and defending IROC champion
driver Kurt Busch by 0.035 seconds on Friday night at Daytona
International Speedway. This was Newman’s first IROC win.
“Just a great race I'm not just saying that because I won it,
but the best I've ever seen. The cars are very, very
competitive. I think with nine laps to go I was still either
last or second to last.” Newman said.
