James Buescher on driving at Martinsville Speedway

“Martinsville Speedway is a place where you beat and bang all day. As a driver, you have to be defensive and take what you can get. You have to be patient and wait for your competitors to make a mistake and take advantage of it. We need to make sure we keep the fenders on our Chevy all day and be there at the end to race for the win.

“We have really made some gains on our short track program over the winter and I am really excited about this weekend’s race at Martinsville Speedway. [Crew chief] Michael [Shelton] and all the guys on this Wolfpack Rentals Chevrolet team have really been working hard to make our trucks fast each and every week and it is really starting to pay off.”
