No. 13 Safe Auto/Curb Records/Carrier Chevy & No. 88 Menards/Certainteed Chevy
Fort Worth, TX – Two practices in at Texas Motor Speedway, ThorSport Racing drivers Johnny Sauter and Matt Crafton made major progress throughout the day. During first practice, both the No. 13 Safe Auto/Curb Records/Carrier Chevy Silverado – driven by Johnny Sauter; and the No. 88 Menards/Certainteed Chevy Silverado – driven by Matt Crafton; worked into fast times during the second session.

“We were super tight in practice one and I was having to work really hard to hold it wide open, so Joe and the guys made a lot of adjustments.,” said Sauter. “The hard work paid off, because we were running second fastest lap times by the end of practice on the laptracker. I know we’ve got the goods to have a great qualifying tonight.”
“I was free, free, free at first practice, and the wind was really contributing to it,” said Crafton. “We worked on a lot things in the garage, and the truck’s consistent. We’re definitely in the running here in Texas.” NEXT UP: QUALIFYING 6pmCT/7pmET Live on SPEED
