Realtree and Bad Boy Buggies Partner with RCR for Ty Dillon’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Debut at Kentucky Speedway

WELCOME, N.C. (September 26, 2011) – Realtree and Bad Boy Buggies will be the primary sponsors of Richard Childress Racing’s Ty Dillon when he makes his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut in the October 1 Kentucky 225 at Kentucky Speedway.

Dillon, 19, of Lewsville, N.C., will drive the No. 21 Realtree Outfitters/Bad Boy Buggies Chevrolet Silverado at the 1.5-mile tri-oval in Sparta, Ky. Realtree, based in Columbus, Ga., has maintained a relationship with RCR since 1997. Realtree is one of the longest running RCR partners, with 14 years of continuous presence on the team’s cars, and has been a sponsor of the Dillon brothers since early on in their racing careers. Bad Boy Buggies is a primary sponsor at Kevin Harvick Inc., in the NASCAR Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series.

“Having been around Richard Childress Racing the past decade and a half, I have watched Ty and Austin Dillon grow up right alongside my son Tyler, and it’s a privilege for Realtree to be involved in both of these teams’ race programs today,” said Realtree designer and president Bill Jordan. “Austin has proved to be a fierce competitor in the Truck Series, and Ty is currently burning up ARCA. Of course, Richard and I are good friends, so I get all the latest updates. Nothing would make me happier than to see the Dillons finish one/two in Kentucky.”

The two companies partnered on RCR’s No. 29 Chevrolet for the Aug. 27 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway. Realtree is also an associate sponsor of RCR’s No. 29 Chevrolet in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series with Kevin Harvick as well as Austin Dillon’s No. 3 Chevrolet Silverado in the NCWTS.

“We are excited to team with Realtree to sponsor Ty as he makes his debut in the Truck Series and begins what we are sure will be a long and storied career on NASCAR’s biggest stages,” said Mike Parkhurst, vice president of sales for Bad Boy Buggies.

The youngest grandson of team owner Richard Childress currently has a season-high seven victories and the lead in the driver point standings in the 2011 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. Dillon makes his NCWTS debut while his older brother, 21-year-old Austin Dillon, currently leads the NCWTS driver point standings with six races remaining in the 2011 season. Crew chief Scott Naset and the rest of the team that supports Ty in the ARCA Racing Series will serve the same function for the NCWTS race.

“I’m very excited to get my first start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with Realtree and Bad Boy Buggies,” said Ty Dillon. “Austin (Dillon) and Joey (Coulter) were great at Kentucky earlier this season so we should have an awesome truck, too. I’m looking forward to learning everything I can this weekend and hope we can run up front.”
