NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race 24 of 25 – Texas Motor Speedway
AIMING FOR FOUR: This weekend at Texas Motor Speedway four-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion Ron Hornaday will be racing to capture his fourth win at the 1.5-mile quad oval. The Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) driver swept the June and October races in 2008 and captured the victory back in June. In 17 starts at the track, the veteran has six top-five and 11 top-10 finishes in addition to the three wins and has led a total of 681 laps. With two races to go in the season, Hornaday sits third, 15 points out of the lead.
BACK-TO-BACK NIGHTS WITH ONEMAIN FINANCIAL: OneMain Financial will be pulling double-duty this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. In addition to theNo. 2 OneMain Financial Chevrolet of Elliott Sadler in the NASCAR Nationwide Series event on Saturday, OneMain Financial will be on board with Hornaday in the Friday night Truck Series contest. The duo, both competing for KHI, will sport the OneMain Financial paint scheme as both contend for their respective series’ championship.
CHASSIS HISTORY: The No. 33 KHI team will bring chassis No. 061 to Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. Hornaday most recently captured back-to-back victories with this chassis at Kentucky Speedway on October 1 and Las Vegas Motor Speedway on October 15. This chassis was driven by KHI co-owner Kevin Harvick at Chicagoland Speedway on September 16 and Clint Bowyer at Atlanta Motor Speedway on September 2. Both drivers qualified and finished second for the events.
PREVIOUS RACE RECAP: Hornaday brought the No. 33 Steak-umm Steaks/Chastity Baker Chevrolet Silverado to a second-place finish on October 29 at Martinsville Speedway. The veteran started the Kroger 200 in the second position and was able to stay among the top five for the majority of the 200-lap event before capturing his 13th top-five finish of the season.

What are your expectations going into the race at Texas?
“Winning the race at Texas Motor Speedway back in June was a really great momentum boost for our team. That was the first win of the season and one that we really needed to get moving in the right direction. This championship battle is anybody’s to win. I think the championship race is going to go into Homestead and it’s going to be a great shootout. I am really proud to be part of this Truck Series and am really looking forward to the race at Texas and the race on into Homestead.”
