I’m really looking forward to getting behind the wheel of my Pilot Flying J Ford Mustang to see what kind of power it’s got this weekend. I feel like we have been improving each week as a team, we are still learning each other, but each week I feel more and more comfortable. Las Vegas is not only a fun race track to go to, but it’s a fun city to visit as well. The fans there are incredible and always full of energy. I’m just excited about the whole weekend.”

Annett on his Top-10 Finish in Phoenix: “Phoenix was a great race for us. My  Richard Petty Motorsports team did an awesome job of making adjustments throughout the race to improve my car, and we ended up with our first top-10 in just two races with a brand new team. If we can improve on last week’s finish we will be in good shape this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.”

Crew Chief Philippe Lopez’s Thoughts on Racing in Las Vegas: “I’m really proud of Michael and the whole Pilot Flying J race team. Everyone is so dedicated to making this program work, and they have done a great job improving each week. Michael drove the wheels off of the No. 43 last weekend in Phoenix and we came home with a 10th-place finish. If he can use some of the momentum from last weekend’s good run we will be poised for another top-10 finish or better this weekend at the fast 1.5-mile track in Las Vegas.“
