BRISTOL TN – This Saturday March 17th, veteran Mike Bliss will make his 250th career start in the NASCAR Nationwide Series at the famed short track of Bristol Motor Speedway.  In 15 NNS starts Mike has 4 Top Ten finishes and 2 Top five finishes.  The black and yellow #44 TriStar Motorsports Toyota Camry will again have Bandit Chippers.com as its primary sponsor.  Bliss and the #44 Bandit car avoided two early close calls at Las Vegas Motor Speedway during the Sam’s Town 300 last weekend, battling back from a two-lap deficit to capture a top 15 finish with for Bandit Industries and the #44 Team.

To come back from two laps down was a huge effort,” said Bandit’s Travis Lint. “That’s especially true at Vegas, which isn’t an easy track to handle.  Mike really showed his talent and experience behind the wheel.  We’re very proud of the team at TriStar Motorsports and his crew did a great job at Vegas.  Now we are equally proud to be a part of this weekend’s important 250th career start by Mike in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.  It is a wonderful achievement and milestone for Mike, and we are excited that Bandit Chippers.com is back again with the #44 TriStar Motorsports Team in Bristol .”

“Bristol is a very exciting track for Bandit,” said Lint. “Our very first step into NASCAR was at Bristol back in 2010 where we started 43rd, finished 9th. Last year at Bristol Jake Crum put on a heck of a show in the truck series, and we can’t wait to see what Mike has in store this Saturday. Any way you cut it, this is going to be a great race.”

Mike Bliss added, “I could not ask for a more experienced and long-standing professional company to be my sponsor for my 250th NNS start.  It just makes me feel good to have their support again this weekend.  I am very thankful and most appreciative of all the fine folks, employees and world-wide customers of Bandit Industries, and our #44 Bandit Chippers.com Toyota Camry Team will be ready again to run upfront in Bristol.”

Mike will be representing for the #44 Bandit Chippers.com NNS Team entry and taking place in the 25th Anniversary Food City Race Night in Knoxville TN tonight(Thursday) from 4 to 8.  He will be doing a Q & A for fans and signing some Bandit autograph cards for those in attendance.  Proceeds from this event will benefit the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.  Mike will also be trackside at Bristol Motor Speedway on Friday from 5 to 7pm signing Bandit autograph cards right outside the Food City hospitality tent.
