Toto, I Have A Feeling…The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) heads to the state of Kansas for the fourth stop of the 2013 season at Kansas Speedway. Paludo has two previous starts at the Kansas City 1.5-mile D-shaped oval and has finished no worse than 13th and started no worse than 15th. Paludo’s best finish of 10th was earned last season in his first trip to the intermediate track with Turner Scott Motorsports.

I’ll Get You My Pretty…After earning his second top-10 finish of 2013, Paludo is now tied for sixth in the NCWTS Driver Point Standings. The Brazilian is currently only two points behind fifth-place driver Ryan Blaney and seven points behind veteran Ron Hornaday in fourth.

This Week’s Silverado…Paludo and the No. 32 Duroline Brakes and Components team will once again utilize chassis TSM-216 this weekend at Kansas Speedway. TSM-216 makes a quick turnaround after scoring a 10th-place finish last weekend at Rockingham Speedway in its first race of 2013. TSM-216 hit the track seven times in 2012, earning a best finish of eighth at Kentucky Speedway in September.

Tune-In Alert…Paludo, his wife Patricia and No. 32 crew members Jerad Hewitt and Brandon Hylton will appear on this week’s NCWTS Setup at 1:30 p.m. EDT. The feature will describe the Paludo family’s journey from Brazil to America and last season’s fight for the top 10 in points, which allowed Paludo to earn his U.S. green card and become a permanent resident of the United States. The “American Dream” narrative will air on SPEED immediately prior to the Kansas pre-race ceremonies.

Watch and Listen…The SFP 250 can be seen live on Saturday, April 20 on SPEED.  Pre-race coverage will begin at 1:30 p.m. EDT, and the event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Radio, channel 90.

Previous Race Recap…Paludo fought back from an 18th-place starting position and battled an initially loose truck to finish 10th in the NCWTS’ second trip to Rockingham Speedway. With extremely fast pit stops and effective adjustments combined with skillful driving and tire preservation, the No. 32 AccuDoc Solutions team earned their second top-10 finish of 2013, leaving Paludo tied for sixth in the NCWTS Driver Point Standings. Paludo also earned a fifth-place driver ranking for his Rockingham effort.

Miguel Paludo on driving at Kansas Speedway

“The No. 32 team is so close to a win we can taste it. Last weekend at Rockingham we had one of the best crews on pit road, we had the third-shortest average pit stop time, and we just keep getting better and better each week. We’re bringing our same chassis as Rockingham to Kansas since we felt so good about it. It has some of our best numbers on the pull-down rig and has been really good on intermediate tracks in the past. The 1.5-mile tracks are probably where I feel the most comfortable, so I think this will be the weekend it all comes together for us.”
