Hackenbracht Wraps Up Rookie Season with a 24th Place Finish at Phoenix

Chad Hackenbracht Phoenix Recap – In the final NASCAR Nationwide Series start of his rookie season, Chad Hackenbracht fought a loose handling race car throughout most of the ServiceMaster 200 at Phoenix International Raceway Saturday afternoon. The 22 year-old started the event 23rdand on three separate occasions, brought the No. 44 down pit road in an attempt to tighten up the car’s handling. Loosing only one position throughout the event Hackenbracht took the checkered flag 24th to wrap up his first season in the NASCAR Nationwide Series with TriStar Motorsports.

Hackenbracht: “I feel like it has been a decent year gaining experience at tracks I have never been to. I’ve learned a great deal about the Nationwide cars and it will help me as I move forward in my career. I can’t thank my crew at TriStar Motorsports enough. I really enjoyed learning with them. I also appreciate the help my teammates have given me, they were always available when I had questions or needed advice.”
