Red Horse Racing at Chicagoland Speedway… In 11 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at the Chicagoland Speedway, Red Horse Racing has earned two top-five and five top-10 finishes.

2014: The Year of the (Red) Horse… With14 of 22 races in the books for the 2014 season, Red Horse Racing holds the fifth and eighth positions in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver championship point standings with drivers Germán Quiroga and Timothy Peters, respectively. The RHR teams have collectively claimed seven top-five and 18 top-10 finishes this season.

About Red Horse Racing… Following the 2005 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Clean Line Motorsports became Red Horse Racing under new ownership. Seven races later, Red Horse Racing earned both its first pole award and win at Memphis Motorsports Park with Brandon Whitt behind the wheel of the No. 38 Toyota Tundra. Now in its 10th year of NCWTS competition, Red Horse Racing has logged a total of 412 starts, earning 12 wins, 80 top-five finishes, 174 top-10 finishes and 11 pole awards, with an average starting position of 13.3 and an average finishing position of 14.3.

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month… Red Horse Racing will display a special decal on the Nos. 17 and 77 Toyota Tundras at the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series events at Chicagoland Speedway (Sept. 12), New Hampshire Motor Speedway (Sept. 20) and Las Vegas Motor Speedway (Sept. 27) in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Germán Quiroga pilots the No. 77 Toyota Tundra and is currently the only Mexican-born driver competing full time in any of NASCAR’s national touring series.

Hispanic Heritage Month is recognized in the United States from Sept. 15  – Oct. 15 each year, to celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

From the “Land of Lincoln”… Crew chief of the No. 77 Toyota Tundra, Butch Hylton, hails from Rockford, Illinois, 100 miles northwest of Chicagoland Speedway. Craig Noble, engineer on the No. 77 team, is grew up in Farmer City, 100 miles south of Joliet, and is a graduate of the University of Illinois.

Catch the Action… FOX Sports 1’s live coverage of the NASCAR 225 is scheduled to begin on Friday, Sept. 12 at 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time, with NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Set Up airing at 8 p.m. The race will also be broadcast on the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90. Qualifying for the 15th event on the 2014 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule will air live on FS1 on Sept. 12 at 3 p.m. ET.

This Week’s NET10 Wireless Toyota Tundra at Chicagoland Speedway… Germán Quiroga will be piloting chassis No. 007 in the NASCAR 225 at Chicagoland Speedway on Friday, Sept. 12. This is the same Toyota Tundra that he drove to a top-five finish at Iowa Speedway in July, and earned top-10 finishes with at Michigan International Speedway coming home sixth.

Quiroga at Chicagoland Speedway… Germán Quiroga has one previous start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Chicagoland Speedway. He competed there in 2013 for Red Horse Racing where he finished 14th.

Race Rewind: Canadian Tire Motorsport Park… Germán Quiroga came home second by 0.05 seconds at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in what was one of the most exciting finishes of the 2014 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Quiroga had the truck to beat and led the first practice session in his Toyota Tundra. The Mexico City native, who qualified fourth and led eight laps, brought home a second-place finish after a side-by-side battle down the frontstretch to the checkered flag.

On a Close Finish at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park… “We came home second at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and it hurts. We’ve come so close so many times this season but we just have to keep on trying. It was a great finish. I tried to pass him without wrecking and we just came up short. This Week’s The Duke of Oil Toyota Tundra at Chicagoland Speedway… Timothy Peters will be piloting chassis No. 018 in the NASCAR 225 at Chicagoland Speedway on Saturday, Sept. 12. This is the same Toyota Tundra that he drove to a top-10 finish at Michigan International Speedway in August, finishing seventh.Peters History at Chicagoland Speedway… In five NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at Chicagoland Speedway Timothy Peters has earned one top-five and two top-10 finishes and led a total of eight laps. He is the only Red Horse Racing driver to have led laps at the Joliet, Illinois race track. His best finish was in July 2012 where he came home third while racing for Red Horse Racing.

Race Rewind: Canadian Tire Motorsport Park… Timothy Peters and the No. 17 Red Horse Racing team earned a top-10 finish at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, finishing 10th after qualifying in the ninth position. This is his second top-10 finish in as many road course races in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series; he finished eighth at the Bowmanville, Ontario track while competing for Red Horse Racing in 2013.
