JOEY LOGANO, No. 21 Shell Pennzoil Ford Fusion (Qualified 10th) – “Well, we aren’t in first so we aren’t satisfied with it. Qualifying here is very interesting, for sure. I had my hands full I can tell you that much. I was sawing away at it but I had a lot of fun out there in the Shell Pennzoil Ford and we will be close enough to the front there that we will get a decent starting spot and we will get a good pit stall so the guys have that going for them and we will go to work on dialing it in some more tomorrow during the practice sessions.”

RYAN BLANEY, No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion (Qualified 19th) – “I thought we were really good. It is kind of unfortunate when we are wide open and the car was going good and we are 20th though. We are trying to figure out where we need to get some speed at here. I know they guys are working hard at it. We will go make some race run tomorrow. We are in the show, which is the biggest thing. We will see where our car is at and where the balance is and see where we are at.”  WERE YOU ABLE TO LEARN ABOUT THIS NEW PACKAGE OR WILL IT TAKE TOMORROW TO GET A FEEL? “It will take tomorrow to get a good feel for what we need to do. We only ran a few laps in race runs today. Tomorrow when it is all race runs we should be able to get a better feel for things.”

SAM HORNISH JR., No. 9 Transportation Impact Ford Fusion (Qualified 15th) – “I think we will end up there about 15th. We went out during the hottest part of the qualifying and now there is a gigantic cloud out here and that hurt us a little bit. As compared to where I thought we were going to be I am pretty happy with where the car was all day today. It was still a pretty good run for our Transportation Impact Ford Fusion and I am just looking forward to getting going and getting more practice tomorrow and seeing if we can make the package better. I feel like we were pretty good in race trim. I wish we could have made the top-12 but it wasn’t meant to be today.”

BRAD KESELOWSKI, No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion (Qualified 14th) – “It was a pretty smooth lap. I was running wide-open and there isn’t a lot you can say about that. We were just holding it open and there isn’t a lot of driver involved in that. The guys have done a good job of getting the car better through the day and we are better now than when practice started and hopefully we will keep getting better to be the best car in the race.”  HOW ABOUT THIS NEW PACKAGE? “We were trying to find the right balance between speed and balance with the way the car handles and we are definitely in dial-in mode trying to figure that all out.”
