Recapping Richmond International Raceway
Perseverance paid off for Wallace Friday night at Richmond International Raceway. Wallace qualified his No. 6 Roush Performance Mustang 32nd after struggling with handling in a rain shortened practice day. Despite starting at the back, Wallace worked his way forward, overcoming a pit road penalty for a crew member over the wall too soon to earn a 14th-place finish under the lights at Richmond.
Bubba Wallace on racing at Chicagoland Speedway:
“I’m excited to get back to Chicago. We just had a really strong test there, so I’m confident that my team will unload right where need to be. I’m glad to be carrying the Roush Performance colors again this weekend on our Mustang.”
