Statement from Joe Gibbs Racing Regarding Injury Status of Kyle Busch

Kyle Busch, driver of the No. 54 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR), sustained a compound fracture of the right lower leg in an accident during Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway. Additionally, Busch suffered a mid-foot fracture of his left foot in the accident.

The South Point Hotel & Casino will return to Richard Childress Racing as the primary sponsor on the No. 21 Chevrolet Camaro, piloted by Daniel Hemric, for the 2018 NASCAR XFINITY Series season. Smithley strong 10th at Iowa

Garrett Smithley scored one of the best runs of his NASCAR career Saturday night at Iowa Speedway, finishing 10th in the American Ethanol E15 250 Xfinity Series race. Smithley ran with the lead pack much of the night and was in eighth place, behind JD Motorsports with Gary Keller teammate Ross Chastain, for the final restart.
