Dierks Bentley to Perform Pre-Race Concert At NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race

CONCORD, N.C. (March 9, 2011) – Grammy-nominated country music superstar Dierks Bentley is set to perform a pre-race concert for the 2011 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race, May 21, at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Admission to the concert is free with the purchase of a ticket to the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race. Additionally, the next 3,000 fans to call the Charlotte Motor Speedway ticket office at 1-800-455-FANS (3267) and purchase a frontstretch ticket to the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race can ask for the Golden Ticket package and receive a pass allowing early access to secure a prime location for the concert, along with a Wanted Poster, featuring Bentley.

Each fan that purchases the package will be automatically entered for a chance to meet the country music star on the day of the concert. “I’m really looking forward to kicking off the All-Star Race in Charlotte,” said Bentley. “It’s always great to watch a race in NASCAR’s hometown. I can’t wait to cheer my buddies on!”

The Phoenix native has won countless awards, headlined arena tours, sold more than five million albums and celebrated seven number one hits, including “What Was I Thinkin,” “Come A Little Closer,” “Settle For A Slowdown,” “Every Mile A Memory,” “Free and Easy (Down The Road I Go),” “Feel That Fire” and “Sideways,” since being signed to Capitol Records Nashville. Bentley will headline a national tour, which kicks off next week and is set to wrap up in May, just a week before the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race.
