Sign Here Please: Jamie McMurray and Juan Pablo Montoya will be signing autographs Thursday, May 26th at 10:00 a.m. at the Earnhardt Ganassi Race shop in Concord, NC. There will be 50 wristbands made available starting May 16th at 8:00 a.m. 

Fans can call or stop by the EGR shop to reserve their wristbands.  The remainder of wristbands will be made available starting at 8:00 a.m. on Monday May 23rd. Pick-up for the reserved wristbands will begin Wednesday, May 25th from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and after 8:00 a.m. on Thursday May 26th.  Limit two wristbands per person.  

Jamie McMurray and No. 1 Bass Pro Shops®/Tracker Boats Team   Monster Mile: McMurray will be making his 17th NSCS start at the one-mile oval. McMurray has started in the top-10 seven times, led 131 laps and accumulated five top-10 finishes.  McMurray’s career-best finish at Dover came in the spring of 2006 when he finished second.  He has completed 6303 of 6404 (98.4%) laps raced and has zero DNF’s.   Not so “Tough to Tame”:  The No. 1 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet started the Showtime Southern 500 at Darlington from the 12th position and ran among the top-15 all night. 

With determined pit work and the assist of a couple of late race cautions, Jamie McMurray was able to take the checkered flag with a 9th-place finish.   In the Points:  The ninth-place finish at Darlington moved McMurray and the No. 1 Team up three spots to 21st in the NSCS Championship standings, just 43 points out of 12th and 52 points out of 10th.  

Autism Speaks:  For the fourth straight year, Dover International Speedway and Autism Speaks have partnered to create awareness for a very worthy cause through the Spring NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.  The NSCS race on Sunday will carry the Autism Speaks name as part of the race sponsorship.  Teams are again encouraged to sport the Autism Speaks logo on their cars throughout the race weekend; the No. 1 Bass Pro Shops / Tracker Boats Chevrolet will display the Autism Speaks puzzle piece logo on the B-post at Dover.  

It’s in the Hole!: McMurray will be participating in Artie Kempner’s Drive for Autism Awareness Celebrity-Am Golf Outing at the DuPont Country Club in Wilmington, DE on Thursday May 12th. onster Mile History:  Juan Pablo Montoya will be making his ninth NASCAR Sprint Cup start at Dover on Sunday.  His best finish at the one-mile oval came in the fall of 2009 when he started on the front row and took the checkered flag in fourth place. He has four top-five starts, one top-five finish and two top-10 finishes at the “Monster Mile.”

Last Weekend: The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series visited historic Darlington Raceway over the weekend. The Target team started 16th and battled a tight handling condition to finish out the night in the 23rd position. Montoya fell one position in the point standings to 13th, 12 points out of the top-10.  

Let There be Light!: In celebration of their 16year partnership, Earnhardt Ganassi Racing has teamed up with Energizer to “Light Up The Night” at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Challenge on May 21st. Energizer hopes to help fans set a world record for shining the most flashlights simultaneously at a sporting event. 65,000 LED headlights will be distributed as fans are asked to shine them during pre-race festivities.  

CHASSIS INFO No. 1 Bass Pro Shops/Tracker Boats Chevrolet (NSCS):Chassis #1102.  Crew Chief Kevin “Bono” Manion has elected to bring Chassis number #1102 to Dover International Speedway this weekend.  McMurray and the No. 1 Bass Pro Shops team last used this chassis earlier in the season at both Las Vegas Motor Speedway where it finished 27th  and Texas Motor Speedway where it finished 22nd.  

No. 42 Target Chevrolet (NSCS): Chassis #1003. Team Target used chassis #1003 this season in the Jeff Byrd 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway where Montoya finished 24th. This chassis also ran five times last year by the No. 42 team (Charlotte in May, Chicago in July, Atlanta in September, Fontana in October, and Texas in November). The chassis had finishes of 38th, 16th, ninth, 14th, and 28th.
