Reynolds Racing Returns to NASCAR Camping World Truck Series

Ben Reynolds to pilot the #47 at Iowa Speedway for American Ethanol 200

Trumansburg, NY – (September 11, 2012) Ben Reynolds descends upon Newton, Iowa this week as he and his Reynolds Racing team prepare for their second run at the American Ethanol 200 on Saturday, September 15. Qualifying for the race begins at 6:00 p.m. EDT, with the race following at 8:00 p.m. The American Ethanol 200 will be televised on SPEED.

Reynolds, 27, of Trumansburg, NY, attempted his first NASCAR Camping World Truck debut in the July 14th Iowa race but fell 0.3 seconds short of qualifying. His #47 Reynolds Racing Chevrolet was the second of three trucks that didn’t qualify. “With July being our first Camping World Truck Series competition, it was a big learning curve for us.” said Reynolds. “We’ve been working hard ever since, and are ready to take on Iowa again.” He added.

Be sure to keep your eyes on #47, whose lifelong dream was to drive in NASCAR. It will likely not be the last time he and his Reynolds Racing family drive over 1000 miles to compete in a race. “We are dead set on qualifying this week; we’ve prepared the truck to be in all of the practice runs, and we will finish this race!” remarked Reynolds’ Crew Chief, Scott Coyle.

About Ben Reynolds Racing since the age of 10, Ben Reynolds moved into the modified class in 2004 where he placed 9th in points at the Tioga Motorsports Park in Owego, NY, winning one feature race and one heat race.
